Cabin 111 is a lovingly restored 1930’s mountain cabin on national forest land at the base of Mt Hood. Nestled on the edge of the Zig Zag River and Mt Hood Wilderness, the cabin is only 45 miles from Portland.
The cabin includes a handsome kitchen with eating nook, large living room with large rock fireplace (and dining area), gorgeous tiled bathroom, two cozy bedrooms and family room, perfect for watching movies and playing games. Outside the cabin, a gracious covered back porch frames the forest and gives way to an outdoor forest amphitheater, complete with a large fire ring with outdoor seating and al fresco dining area. A striking Japanese-style yellow cedar soaking tub is five steps from the back door, ready for the tired soul and weary recreationalist.

Cabin 111 provides the perfect jumping off point for mountain adventures or simply enjoying the solitude of the Zig Zag River and spectacular old growth forest. Countless recreational options are located near the cabin, including three ski resorts, awesome mountain biking trails, dozens of extraordinary hikes, 2 wilderness areas, and countless streams, rivers and lakes to fish, boat and swim. The charming town of Government Camp is 5 miles from the cabin, historic Timberline Lodge is 12 miles away, Sandy Ridge is 12 miles away and Mt Hood’s premier ski resort, Mt Hood Meadows is only 15 miles away. Cross country and back country skiing are also within a short drive. Three grocery stores, a variety of fun restaurants and watering holes, and useful services (hardware, post office, fuel, propane, etc) are within ten minutes of the cabin.

Rental Rates:
Nightly Rate: $220/day plus cleaning ($125). 3 night min.
Weekly Rate: $1,300, plus cleaning ($125).
